We meet up once a month for a social get together and discuss web-related stuff as well as general technology. You mention John Oxton made your meet, and although he signed up for the Multipack, he is yet to make one of our meetings - so if you're reading John, come along to the <a href="http://upcoming.org/event/128155/" rel="nofollow">next meeting in February which is in Birmingham</a>. We're hoping to organise some more formal events this year, with presentations and everything... and definitely going to organise the second <a href="http://www.geekinthepark.co.uk" rel="nofollow">Geek in the Park</a> - so look out for that! It is really singular in the www-universe (as far as I know). I've tried to attend a couple of times but my timing is really lousy. But I feel envious everytime I read about the latest Geek Meet. So, I hope to attend the next one, <i>especially</i> if it is NOT on a Thursday :) Well, you know how it is to be a father, time is a rare commodity...
