To me Technorati feels much more focused on blog search, simply because it's their core business. It's purely that I'm used to Technorati - it's like force of habit. Besides, I've never had a problem getting the results I'm after with Technorati, so I see little reason to use Google. Google's blog search returns a lot more results (it even indexes Flickr photo pages), but it also returns a ton-load of crap.
