So far I usually search for russian blogs, I use only http://blog.yandex.ru search which works perfect, while google and especially Technorati sucks greatly in sorting russian pages by relevance.

I rarely use blog search tools, but when I do, it's Technorati. To me Technorati feels much more focused on blog search, simply because it's their core business.

The speed difference is worth to mention, but I favour the added value of Technorati more than it's removed speed.

I never use Google Blog Search - not because I don't think it's as good as Technorati, though. It's purely that I'm used to Technorati - it's like force of habit. Besides, I've never had a problem getting the results I'm after with Technorati, so I see little reason to use Google.

I just have a habit of getting stuck in my ways.

I use both, but I find myself using Technorati more. The tag search is interesting with its "authoritative" rating. Unfortunately, it's painfully slow sometimes.

Google's blog search returns a lot more results (it even indexes Flickr photo pages), but it also returns a ton-load of crap. A typical search might return one real blog entry and several exact knock-offs (spam blogs) on the first page of results.

For reason or another I've never used Google blog search, I don't feel it's the blog search platform, Technorati is the place for search for blogs or blog contents.
